FAQs
  • Who uses the SREB Online Teacher Web site?

The Web site can be helpful for all persons interested in knowing more about how to teach online effectively, but it is designed specifically for middle grades and high school online teachers.

  • Why has SREB created the site?

SREB is committed to online learning and the key role of the online teacher in providing high-quality courses to middle grades and high school students. In 2006, SREB worked in partnership with SREB state virtual schools and the BellSouth Foundation to develop a landmark document outlining SREB Standards for Quality Online Teaching. This Web site is designed to support these standards.

  • Where can I (and other students, parents and educators) get information from state virtual schools about courses, procedures and requirements?

State virtual schools in many SREB states provide FAQs on their Web sites. Please click on these individual links for more information.
